I was told that Klean tank could not clean tanks with macerator toilets. Can you tell if this is true?
Thanks for the question, John. Actually, it’s truer to say that no RV tank cleaning service company can clean “through” a macerator toilet. Due to the construction of them, it is virtually impossible to get our cleaning equipment through a toilet macerator. Now, if you’re referring to an inline (at the other end of the waste handling system) macerator, Kleen Tank dealers have special training to work through or bypass an inline macerator. There are many kinds of macerators and the set up on them varies from model to model, but we have no problem with RVs that have inline macerators.
