In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, all of our 2020’s RV rallies have been canceled. But despite that, we’re busier than ever before!

Like many small (and even medium- and larger-sized) businesses, we’ve been adversely affected by the 2020 COVOD-19 pandemic. Travel plans canceled, rallies put off for another year, and plans for bringing our rally seminars to RVers at local parks and resorts have been put on hold. But despite all that, Kleen Tank is doing great!

We’re busier than ever!

With RV sales up a reported 1000% in 2020, we’re performing two to five local services each week, all without any additional advertising efforts. That’s up from a few a month in previous summers and something we’re pretty happy about. We’ve had greater exposure to RVers outside of rallies, though our reputation from those rallies is putting us in front of more RVers as the word spreads about Kleen Tank service.

If you know of anyone who would like to have our service, be sure to refer them to us. We’ll give them a break on their next service and you’ll receive a gift from us as a thank you for your referral. They can make an appointment online and direct them to comment that you referred them.

Google “Near Me” searches

Google is really working overtime for us! Everyday, we get about five to ten phone calls, emails, or website inquiries from RVers about getting their tanks cleaned. Unfortunately, most of these are out of our service area. In those cases, we to try work with their travel plans or refer them to another All Pro Water Flow dealer.

We even have one customer driving to us from three states away to have a clog taken care of! Now that’s a need we are happy to meet and customer dedication we really appreciate.

Working with RV manufacturers

We’re beginning to work with some RV manufacturers in northwest Indiana to offer our tank cleaning services directly to their service customers. That means we’ll be traveling to northern Indiana a couple of times a month to perform service at RV manufacturer repair facilities and factories.

We hope to build on the great relationships we have with Jayco, Open Range, Grand Design, Heartland, Redwood, THOR, Newmar, Entegra and others in 2021 to bring our service to more facilities.

Facebook advertising

We’ve dabbled a bit with advertising on social media in the past, mainly targeting owners groups right before their rallies and promoting sign-ups for service. This year, we’re reaching out to an expanded (100 mile radius of our “home office”) service area with targeted, online advertising, trying to reach a greater audience.

As many who have had our service before, we not only get your tanks clean but we take time to go over what you should be doing to keep them that way. We like to educate and answer questions as much as clean your tanks.

2021 Travel plans

As each owner club canceled their rallies this year, they usually let us know when and where their 2021 events were being scheduled. We’re building our Rally Schedule for 2021 and looking to add a few more rallies, with a target of 12 events. Check it out and see if we’ll be coming to one you might be at.

Starting this winter — and this completely depends on the whole COVID-19 issue — we’ll be traveling to Texas and the southwest to service local RV parks and attend a couple of rallies. Stay tuned for details.

2021 will also take us out east as we service the 2021 Newmar International Rally in West Virginia and then head on up to Vermont to visit with family.

Special announcements

Oh boy, do we have some great things in the works! We can’t give too many details just yet, but one involves a dedicated Kleen Tank World Headquarters and the other has t odd with expanding our service to a greater number of RVers.

We’re finalizing these plans in the months ahead so look for some “official” announcements in 2021.

Be safe…traveling or not

We hope that you are safe during these difficult times. For many RVers — especially full-timers — staying in place, being a bit secluded, and limiting interactions with others is a part of their daily lives. But if you’re out camping and RVing, use recommended safety precautions like social distancing, masks, and other safety measures.
